Food, glorious food
We try as much as possible to source all our produce locally - the crab in your sandwich was probably scuttling about off Ramsgate beach earlier on in the day.
Our jams and chutneys come from the National Fruit Collection in Brogdale, our bread is baked 5 minutes up the road by Janet in Dickens Pantry and, in winter, our soups are home-made from Kentish vegetables and as organic as we can make them.
Even our pork pie is a thing of beauty: made from local pork and organic flour, it's made from choice cuts with just a suggestion of sage and nutmeg.
